About the Organization
The Medical Academic Center, also known as MAC, is a bio-skills lab and medical education conference center in Carmel, Indiana. The facility supports hands-on training for healthcare professionals, medical device companies, students, and other groups using the space for education and events.
Inside the facility, MAC has a bio-skills lab, auditorium, conference areas, and support spaces designed for medical training. The center also hosts gross anatomy labs for high school students and rents the space to outside organizations, so the technology has to work for a wide range of people and programs.

Project Overview & Goals
The Medical Academic Center had an existing AV system in place, but the demands of modern medical education had changed significantly since the original installation. Instructors and presenters needed new ways to collaborate, share content, and connect with remote participants while maintaining the hands-on nature of medical training.
The facility required a technology platform capable of supporting hybrid learning, recording, streaming, and real-time collaboration between multiple rooms. Force Tech worked closely with MAC leadership to understand how the facility was being used and develop a solution that would improve flexibility, enhance communication, and support future educational needs.

Medical training environments require technology that can support both hands-on instruction and digital collaboration. Force Tech upgraded the facility to a high-definition AV platform capable of sharing content between the bio-skills lab, auditorium, and conference spaces, allowing demonstrations and presentations to reach audiences throughout the building.
Integrated recording, streaming, and Zoom conferencing capabilities provide flexibility for instructors and organizations that need to connect with remote participants. Voice lift technology, projection systems, and professional displays help ensure that educational content remains clear and accessible regardless of where participants are located within the facility.
The completed system provides MAC with a modern technology environment that supports healthcare training, continuing education, medical device demonstrations, and collaborative learning while remaining intuitive for staff and presenters to operate.
Results
The upgraded AV system has helped the Medical Academic Center better align with the needs of modern healthcare education.
