Project Overview & Goals
Force Tech delivered an integrated audiovisual system for the Indiana State Senate designed around the demands of a working legislative chamber. The environment needed to support clear communication between participants while providing the video, audio, and control infrastructure necessary for professional coverage of official proceedings.

Project Goals Include:
Capturing the Chamber
Panasonic PTZ cameras provide flexible video coverage throughout the Senate chamber. The remotely operated cameras allow different areas of the room to be captured without requiring traditional camera positions throughout the space, supporting professional coverage while maintaining the appearance and functionality of the chamber.
Shure microphone systems provide the audio foundation for legislative proceedings, helping ensure speakers can be clearly heard both within the chamber and through the broadcast system.
NEC displays complete the visual environment, providing reliable presentation and information display throughout the space.
Centralized Control with Q-SYS
Bringing each component together is a centralized QSC Q-SYS control platform. Rather than requiring staff to manage separate systems independently, Q-SYS provides a unified environment for managing audio, video, displays, and other system functions.
For operators, that means a more consistent workflow and straightforward access to the technology needed during official proceedings. For a space where communication is essential and sessions happen in real time, simplifying those interactions helps keep attention on the work taking place in the chamber.

Technology inside a legislative chamber has to do more than provide a good presentation. It needs to perform consistently when proceedings are underway and information is being communicated to both participants and the public.
