Granger Community Church is an active church campus with spaces supporting worship, children’s ministry, live production, broadcasting, training, and community gatherings. The campus includes The Lodge, children’s environments, production and broadcast areas, an atrium, café, training spaces, and other ministry areas, creating a wide range of technology needs throughout the facility.

Project Overview & Goals
As Granger Community Church moved through a major multi-phase campus renovation, Force Tech worked alongside the construction schedule to build an integrated AVL infrastructure across the facility. Rather than treating each space as a standalone system, the project connected key areas through fiber, networked audio, video distribution, and centralized Q-SYS processing and control.
The scope extended from The Lodge and children’s ministry environments to front of house, backstage, broadcast, training, and gathering spaces. As the project progressed, additional technology was incorporated for nursery spaces and a separate emergency paging system, expanding the infrastructure beyond traditional AVL into building-wide communication and control.

Project Goals Include:
Connecting Technology Across the Campus
At the center of the project was an extensive infrastructure designed to connect technology throughout the campus. Force Tech deployed fiber between key technical areas including The Lodge, atrium, front of house, backstage, broadcast, and multiple IDF locations. More than 200 individual fiber-strand terminations were tracked during the project, with the completed fiber infrastructure tested before final commissioning.
The network supports Dante audio, video distribution, production workflows, and Q-SYS control across the facility. This connected approach allows live-service feeds, signage, production content, and other sources to move between spaces while giving operators centralized control over how the technology is used.
The Lodge received a major technology package that included an Absen LED wall, Martin Audio loudspeakers, wireless audio, digital mixing, stage connectivity, lighting, and production infrastructure. Custom stage connectivity brought together audio, network, DMX, and SDI connections to create a flexible environment for services, events, and production needs.
Built Alongside an Active Campus
One of the biggest challenges was not a single piece of technology—it was coordinating a campus-wide installation around an active church and a renovation divided into five construction phases. Force Tech installed infrastructure as areas became available, often preparing cabling and technical systems ahead of construction so teams could return and complete individual rooms as each phase progressed.
The existing building also required solutions designed around real-world conditions. Loudspeaker installations involved structural mounting to concrete ceilings, while racks, fiber, cabling, displays, and other infrastructure had to adapt as construction moved forward.
Throughout the process, the church continued holding services and ministry activities. Force Tech coordinated installation, testing, and troubleshooting around those operations to keep the project moving while minimizing disruption to the people using the campus.
More Than Traditional AVL
The completed system also expanded into building-wide communication and operational control. Using Q-SYS, Force Tech developed emergency paging functionality that included fire evacuation and severe-weather messaging, building-close functions, user-access controls, and automated display behavior.
Q-SYS also provides control for everyday AV workflows throughout the campus, including source selection, signage and live-service feeds, display management, and other room functions. The result is a system that brings multiple technologies together while keeping day-to-day operation manageable for the church team.
Results
Granger Community Church now has a connected technology infrastructure supporting worship, production, children’s ministry, communication, and everyday campus operations. The project combines professional audio, large-format LED video, production connectivity, networked AV, extensive fiber infrastructure, lighting, control, and emergency paging into a coordinated campus-wide system.
Just as importantly, the infrastructure was designed to support the different ways the church uses its spaces. From routing a live service to another room to managing technology in The Lodge or delivering an emergency message across the facility, the completed system provides a flexible foundation for the church’s ongoing technology needs.
