E-gineering Inc. is a technology consulting company with meeting spaces designed to support collaboration and communication across its team. The project focused on four conference rooms—Mountain, Ocean, Tundra, and Jungle—each with different room sizes and technology requirements.

Project Overview & Goals
E-gineering needed a conferencing solution that would make joining and managing Microsoft Teams meetings simple and consistent across its meeting spaces. While each room had different requirements, the goal was to create a familiar experience for users whether they were meeting in a larger conference room or a smaller collaboration space.
Force Tech designed the systems around native Microsoft Teams conferencing while also providing BYOD connectivity for added flexibility. Tabletop touch panels provide straightforward room control and one-touch meeting access, while HDMI connectivity allows users to quickly share content from their devices.

Project Goals Include:
A CONSISTENT EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ROOM
The larger Mountain and Ocean conference rooms were designed with dedicated ceiling microphone arrays, system speakers, tabletop touch controls, and PTZ cameras with auto-framing capabilities. These systems provide the additional audio and video coverage needed for larger meetings while keeping the user experience simple.
The smaller Tundra and Jungle rooms use integrated soundbar solutions combining the microphone, camera, and audio system into a streamlined package. Tabletop controls and HDMI sharing maintain a similar experience across the smaller spaces.
Force Tech also incorporated room scheduling displays to help employees see room availability and manage meeting spaces more easily. Existing displays were incorporated throughout the project, including a 98-inch display in the Mountain room.
BUILT AROUND THE SPACE
Installing technology in an existing office often means designing around infrastructure that's already in place. In the Mountain room, the ceiling construction created challenges for positioning the microphone directly above the conference table. Force Tech worked around the existing conditions while maintaining the intended functionality of the system.
The project also included pre-building, configuring, updating, and testing system components before final commissioning. This preparation helped create a more organized installation process and ensured the different components were ready to work together once deployed.
Results
The completed conference room systems give E-gineering a more consistent and approachable way to host Microsoft Teams meetings throughout its office. Employees can join meetings from dedicated room systems, connect their own devices when needed, share content, and manage meetings through simple tabletop controls.
By designing each system around the size and needs of the individual room while maintaining a familiar experience across the office, E-gineering now has a conferencing environment built to make everyday collaboration easier.
